What you can expect

  • 6:30 - 7:00 AM Pickup
    Start of the service with pick-up from your hotel or a coordinated point in Huacachina or downtown Ica.

    8:30 AM Arrival in Paracas and welcome
    Reception at the office and brief overview of the sightseeing tour.

    Ballestas Islands
    09:00 a.m. Start of the Ballestas Islands excursion
    Embark on an adventure at sea off the Ballestas Islands, where you can see sea lions, Humboldt penguins, guano birds, and the “El Candelabro” geoglyph.

    10:00 AM Return from the sightseeing tour by boat

    10:45 AM Meet at the Like Xplorer Peru office
    Start of the second part of the tour.

    11:00 a.m. Land sightseeing tour of the Paracas National Reserve with stops at:
    La Catedral:
    Formerly an iconic rock formation shaped by the sea and wind. Today it offers a panoramic viewpoint to appreciate the coastal landscape and the contrast between the desert and the ocean.

    Supay Beach:
    A small bay with calm waters and reddish sand. It is an ideal stop to take pictures and enjoy the view of the natural surroundings.

    Playa Roja:
    One of the most famous beaches in Paracas for its deep red sand, the result of the erosion of volcanic rocks. It offers a unique and photogenic landscape.

    La Mina Beach:
    A beach with clearer and calmer waters, ideal for swimming or walking. You'll have approximately 30 minutes to enjoy the place.

    Lagunillas Beach:
    A wide beach with local restaurants on the sea front. It's the ideal spot for lunch (at the passenger's expense) and relaxing with a view of the ocean.

    3:00 p.m. Return from the sightseeing tour in Paracas

    3:05 PM - 3:15 PM Transfer
    The service includes tourist transport from Paracas to Huacachina or the Óvalo de Ica. The tour ends at the point chosen by the passenger (Huacachina, Ica, or Paracas bus terminal), where the service will be concluded.

    5:00 PM – Tubing and sandboarding in Huacachina (1 hour) optional (not included)

    At this time, the sightseeing tour takes place during the sunset, when the desert has better light and the atmosphere is cooler.

    NOTE:

    • If you wish, you can end the sightseeing tour in Paracas. You can also leave your luggage at our office at no additional cost while you're on the tour.
    • The travel time from Paracas to Huacachina (Ica) is approximately 1 hour 50 minutes.
