On this journey back on time, we will take you to see two beautiful places, the first one is Mascota Jalisco then to Guachimontones.

In the magical town of Mascota Jalisco there are different places to visit, such as the main square, shops of traditional sweets of the region. Something distinctive and unique is “The Unfinished Temple of the Precious Blood” As its name says, this temple that was going to be really impressive remained unfinished. However, its foundations and high walls that were completed are a testimony to its majesty.

Guachimontones, which means Place of Guajes, also declared a World Heritage Site. It is one of the few archaeological sites with circular pyramids in the world.

Located in Teuchitlán, a pre-Columbian settlement. Its main ceremonial center includes buildings with a peculiar architectural style, including several stepped conical structures surrounded by circular courtyards, two ball games, an amphitheater and some terraces and minor buildings. Beautiful place, window to the past!
