Bernal has been recognized as a Magical Town and is a true haven of tranquility, ideal for resting, getting away from the hustle and bustle and recharging your energy. The town of Bernal is a small place, but you can take advantage of it by walking around it. You will find shops selling crafts, wool and blanket products and typical sweets. From every corner you can see the majestic Peña de Bernal, which is said to be full of energy.

In 2011 it was named a Magical Town thanks to its history and its magic inherited from the native peoples of the region, as well as for its diverse tourist attractions.

One of the 20 most important botanical gardens in Mexico, it was founded on April 25, 1991. The Garden houses 5 botanical collections: the Semi-desert, Cacti of Querétaro, Vegetation of the Valley of Querétaro, The Mammillaria genus in Mexico and Agaves of Querétaro.
