What you can expect

  • Dig into the multicultural legacy of Girona and immerse yourself in Salvador Dalí’s surrealistic world at his theater-museum in Figueres. Learn about these 2 important Catalan cities and get insider tips about places to visit or simply wander through the charming streets at your own pace.

Your tour starts with a visit to Girona. Listen to your guide as he explains the origins of this city's medieval walls and Romanesque and Gothic monuments. You have time to walk through the old town and the Jewish Quarter. Admire the colorful façades of the houses overlooking the river and, if you choose, taste some local delicacies.

Your next stop is the town Figueres, birthplace of Salvador Dalí and a fascinating, surrealistic world. Step into Dalí’s whimsical mind as you visit his theater-museum. Marvel at the museum itself, the largest surrealistic object in the world, and spend some time exploring the town before making your way back to Barcelona.
