Kumamon’s Office—also known as Kumamon Square—is the lively home of Kumamoto Prefecture’s beloved mascot, Kumamon. This attraction is free to enter, but you will need to walk there on your own, which takes about 30 minutes round trip. Please manage your time carefully. The Aso area, you may also visit the Aso Volcano Museum, an informative facility that explains the history, geology, and ongoing activity of Mount Aso.
