  Dubbed “the Kitchen of Kanmon”, Karato Market offers fresh seafood, local snacks and handmade crafts. Taste sushi and regional delicacies at your own cost and experience authentic local vibes.
  Notice: Open Friday–Sunday, closed every Wednesday & Mar 4, 11, 25. Confirm opening status with customer service in advance. Mojiko Retro District (nostalgic port area with Western buildings, vintage cafés and boutiques) will be the fixed alternative with no partial refund if the market is closed.
• Motonosumi Shrine | 60 mins
  Ranked among CNN’s 31 Most Beautiful Places in Japan. Stroll along clifftop 123 vermilion torii gates overlooking the blue ocean and join the traditional lucky coin-toss ritual.
  Notice: The inner worship hall closes on weekends, national holidays, May 2–10 & Aug 8–16, while the coastal torii walking area stays open.

  View Kitakyushu’s famous million-dollar night view, one of Japan’s New Three Great Night Views. Ropeway tickets are self-paid. If the ropeway is suspended, alternative spots like Akama Shrine or Fukuoka Tower will be arranged with no partial refund.
