One of the best beaches (According to National Geographic 2025) in the world is the dunes in Corralejo, and we'll definitely be seeing it on this tour!

We have walk/stops through breathtakingly beautiful landscapes while driving along the highest mountains, lava mountains/areas and through incredibly shield volcanoes.

Sometimes we're in the minivan a bit longer, but don't worry. Our DJ/guide plays great music, and the sightseeing is fantastic.

Neither the Seychelles nor the Caribbean: the best beach in the world according to National Geographic is in the Canary Islands. One of the best beaches in the world is Corralejo, and we'll definitely be seeing it on this tour! Our guide, Pepe, rightly calls it: “ The door to Paradise” Note: If the weather is nice, we'll stop here or at the popcorn beaches!

Caves walk !! Yea, A Walk to the spectacular Ajuy caves, which are the oldest formations in the Canary Islands. They belong to the basal complex of Fuerteventura, created by the submarine flow of lava and sediment that rose to the surface and began to form the island 100 million years ago in the Cretaceous period. The rocks emerged from a depth of 3,000 metres and started to form the base that these days supports this island and that of Lanzarote. The caves are extremely important from a geological and paleontological perspective and are among the 150 sites of primary geological interest in the world. Visiting them means travelling back in time to the very origins of Fuerteventura and the Canary Islands themselves. Did you knew? • It was the place where Jean de Béthencourt, the conqueror of the Canary Islands, landed in the 15th century. If the weather conditions permit, we will also visit the caves on the west sea coast.

The ravine of las Penitas. An exceptional enclave! AN other great Panoramic View on this daytrip. From the Las Peñitas viewpoint, in Betancuria, you will see an evocative view: a green oasis in the middle of the desert. The underground river that flows under the Las Peñitas ravine is created by human hands (in 1937) and forms a small lake dotted with native plants. The open esplanade of the viewpoint is the perfect place for taking quality photos. Home of the local inhabitants, the chipmunks.
Mirador Sicasumbre

Driving south, we arrive at the Sicasumbre Viewpoint, located about 300 meters above sea level. This is, by the way, one of the best places on our island to observe the sky. The beauty of the area is perfectly combined with the facilities the viewpoint offers, from information and signage to the mountains, so those who wish can comfortably use their cameras. Our guide, Pepe, says: "It's a panoramic and breathtaking viewpoint on clear, cloudy days. "We'll stop there whenever the weather conditions are favorable, without fail."

Castillo De San Buenaventura

Fuste Castle, San Buenaventura Tower, or Caleta de Fuste is a defensive tower located in the town of Caleta de Fuste. It has been a Site of Cultural Interest since 1949. Its main function was to defend the bay of Caleta de Fuste, one of the island's three main ports. In its early years of operation, its walls were expanded from the initial 3 meters to the current thickness of almost 6 meters, presumably after being damaged by a cannonball in a pirate attack. In the 19th century, it passed into private hands, probably due to its loss of military usefulness. In the 1980s, a tourist complex was built, the pools of which now surround the building.

Mirador De Vallebron

An area of great landscape value The protected landscape of Vallebrón is located between the towns of La Oliva and Puerto del Rosario, in the north of the island of Fuerteventura. It is a geomorphological entity that is representative of the island and of great landscape value. It covers an area of almost 1,680 hectares, which represents 3.5% of the protected area of the island. Vallebrón forms a landscape characterised by an elongated ridge with a knife-shaped relief, flanked by two large U-shaped ravines, Valle Largo and Valle Chico. The southernmost point of the ridge coincides with the Montaña de la Muda, a place of historical interest due to an archaeological site. To the southwest lies the town of Tindaya, which is bordered by the Montaña Quemada to the south and the Montaña de Tindaya to the north. We will stop there if the weather conditions are favorable!
Los Molinos (Sambil lalu)
Tiscamanita is a small farming village of about 500 inhabitants, in the south of the island of Fuerteventura. To the east of the village lies the Caldera de Gairía volcano, one of the last volcanic structures on the island of Fuerteventura; it is a Strombolian volcano with a height of 461 metres. This recent volcanic activity has created an arid area with a very special biological environment. Volcanic ash from the volcano has been exploited for a long time, including through the "agricultural technical cultivo enarenado" ("silted cultivation"), in which the fields are covered with pozzolana to protect the soil from the evaporation of water by the strong winds in the region. Pozzolana has left deep fissures in the flanks of the volcano, but the Caldera de Gairía is now protected as a natural monument. Your local guide will give you more history facts on tour.
Montana de Tindaya (Sambil lalu)
The most striking monument in the village is the Hermitage of Nuestra Señora de la Caridad, a small temple that has been declared an Asset of Cultural Interest. The volcano Tindaya has been declared a Natural Monument due to the scientific importance of its geomorphological structure, as well as a point of cultural interest due to its archaeological values, especially due to the abundance of podomorphic petroglyphs and the sacred character given by the majos, first pre-Hispanic settlers of the island. It also has the presence of some rare endemisms such as Caralluma burchardii, fleshy plants with the appearance of cacti. 3 km south of the city, at the foot of Mount Quemada, stands the monument in honor of Miguel de Unamuno.
Molino de Tefia (Sambil lalu)
The agricultural prison colony of Tefía was a concentration camp during the Franco dictatorship, located in the village of Tefía, belonging to the municipality of Puerto del Rosario. It was active between 1954 and 1966 and served for the incarceration of ordinary and political prisoners, and for the re-education of male homosexuals. Also the place where the first airport (1930) was and the first tourists arrived.
Tesejerague (Pueblo) (Sambil lalu)
Tesejerague: The little village of Tesejerague is located in the municipality of Tuineje in a landscape of spectacular dry plains and palm trees beneath Tirba Mountain. We will see the beautiful church Built in 1715. The Ermita de San José de Tesejerague.. and some other surprises.
La Oliva (Sambil lalu)
It is located in the north of the island and includes the islet of Lobos in its municipal area, being the second largest municipality in the Canary Islands and the second most populated on the island, after Puerto del Rosario. It was the island capital from 1834, replacing Betancuria, until the transfer of the capital in 1860 to the city of Puerto del Rosario.

We drive past the young capital(1862), actually through the center and along the most important port in Fuerteventura. If we have time enough; We have a photo stop on the port and the lovely beach playa chica … On high tide we see the natural swimming pool of the El Charco neighborhood in Puerto del Rosario!! Pajara (Sambil lalu)
Pájara is one of the oldest towns in Fuerteventura and was a very early settlement of Betancuria. It survived the complete destruction during the Arab invasion of 1593, when all of Betancuria was reduced to dust. The town takes its name from the hen pheasant, as shown on its coat of arms. Tuineje (Sambil lalu)
