Activity itinerary

Dunas De Corrallejo (Pass by)

Neither the Seychelles nor the Caribbean: the best beach in the world according to National Geographic is in the Canary Islands. One of the best beaches in the world is Corralejo, and we'll definitely be seeing it on this tour! Our guide, Pepe, rightly calls it: “ The door to Paradise” Note: If the weather is nice, we'll stop here!

Playa Ajuy

  • 45m
  • Admission ticket included
Caves walk !! Yea, A Walk to the spectacular Ajuy caves, which are the oldest formations in the Canary Islands. They belong to the basal complex of Fuerteventura, created by the submarine flow of lava and sediment that rose to the surface and began to form the island 100 million years ago in the Cretaceous period. The rocks emerged from a depth of 3,000 metres and started to form the base that these days supports this island and that of Lanzarote. The caves are extremely important from a geological and paleontological perspective and are among the 150 sites of primary geological interest in the world. Visiting them means travelling back in time to the very origins of Fuerteventura and the Canary Islands themselves. Did you knew? • It was the place where Jean de Béthencourt, the conqueror of the Canary Islands, landed in the 15th century. If the weather conditions permit, we will also visit the caves on the west sea coast.

Monumento Natural de Ajuy

  • 40m
Lunch time

Pozo Negro

We drive through typical and characteristic villages and stop at one of the local farms, where we introduce you to regional products. We also visit the farm and the animal enclosure.

El Cotillo

  • 20m
Visit El Cotillo, one of the most beautiful fisher villages on Fuerteventura. Cotillo is a charming fishing village on the west coast of Fuerteventura, known for its beautiful beaches and relaxed atmosphere. It is an absolute must-visit! You can have a coffee on the amazing west coast if you like…

Mirador Sicasumbre

  • 15m
Driving south, we arrive at the Sicasumbre Viewpoint, located about 300 meters above sea level. This is, by the way, one of the best places on our island to observe the sky. The beauty of the area is perfectly combined with the facilities the viewpoint offers, from information and signage to the mountains, so those who wish can comfortably use their cameras. Our guide, Pepe, says: "It's a panoramic and breathtaking viewpoint on clear, cloudy days. "We'll stop there whenever the weather conditions are favorable, without fail."

Vega de Rio Palmas

  • 5m
Known for the film Excodus “Gods & Kings” and the Church of Virgin de La Pena. The patrona of Fuerteventura. Your guide will tell you all about it. On request we can stop here 5 minutes.

Tindaya

  • 5m
"La Casa Alta" (The High House) in Tindaya was closely associated with the witches of Tindaya. La Casa Alta in Tindaya is an example of the civil architecture that flourished in the 18th century. Its walls enshrine memories and legends. Legend has it that Mount Tindaya has been a place of witches since ancient times, ever since the Majos performed their rituals on its summit. There, magic, intertwined with the divine, gave birth to countless stories that resonated through the village. From there came good and evil, mystery and precision, the rain that brought life and death—always death. From the mountain, the witches descended and took advantage of the darkness of the night to discuss earthly matters, for they were the ones who determined the entire course of events in the village of Tindaya. And according to legend, at sunrise all those who still wandered through the village sought refuge in the High House.

Mirador de las Penitas

  • 10m
  • Admission ticket included
The ravine of las Penitas. An exceptional enclave! AN other great Panoramic View on this daytrip. From the Las Peñitas viewpoint, in Betancuria, you will see an evocative view: a green oasis in the middle of the desert. The underground river that flows under the Las Peñitas ravine is created by human hands (in 1937) and forms a small lake dotted with native plants. The open esplanade of the viewpoint is the perfect place for taking quality photos. Home of the local inhabitants, the chipmunks.

Ermita de la Pena Trail

  • 10m
  • Admission ticket included
Beautiful little church of Fuerteventura’s patron “the Virgin de la Peña” … Your guide will tell you all about it. If time enough and the church is open we will visit the Ermita de la Peña …
