Explore the stunning landscapes of Slovak Paradise National Park on a guided hike. Traverse hanging bridges, steel steps, and ladders as you make your way through the park's scenic trails.
Begin your adventure by hiking along a trail that leads you through gorges and riverbeds. Cross hanging bridges and traverse vertical rocks above the river current. Use steel steps and chains to navigate the path, and climb ladders that reach several meters high.
Reach the Klasztorysko meadow, a historical site that was once home to a monastic settlement and a small castle known as castrum Lethon. In 1923, the first tourist shelter was established here. The meadow is a major hub for hiking trails and is the starting point of the Kláštorská roklina stream, which flows into the Hornád River.
Take a break at the Klasztorysko meadow, where you can purchase drinks and snacks (cash only) at a tourist shelter. Enjoy the picturesque mountain views before continuing your hike.
Next, hike along the Hornád River Gorge, one of the most popular and beautiful trails in central-eastern Slovakia. Cross hanging bridges, wooden footbridges, and metal steps secured to the rocks, all protected by chains. The entire 12-kilometer section of this trail is part of a nature reserve.
