Saint Gayane Church is a three-nave domed basilica named yet after another one of the virgins who escaped from Rome and where later made a saint of the Armenian Apostolic Church. The ruins of Zvartnots Tample represent a truly unique - 3 storied circular domed architectural masterpiece. The name Zvartnots is derived from Old Armenian meaning a host of angels - a dwelling place of angels.
