From there, they’ll enjoy beautiful views of Trakai Island Castle from the lakeshore and have the chance to take a relaxing boat ride around the castle (optional, weather permitting), offering a different perspective of this fairytale-like fortress. Travelers can also choose to have lunch at a traditional Karaim restaurant, tasting local dishes like kibinai. Afterward, they’ll have free time to explore the area on their own—visit souvenir shops, enjoy the lakeside views, or enter the castle if they wish to explore it inside.
