Visit the old capital of Kharhorin, or Karakorum, the ancient capital city of the Mongol Empire during the 13th-14th centuries. Admire the Erdene Zuu Monastery, a 16th-century monastery. UB to Kharkhorin around 360 km. /5 hours/.
Discover to Elsen Tasarkhai, also known as the “Mini Gobi,” a unique combination of sand dunes, green meadows, and bodies of water in the middle of Mongolia.
UB to Elsen Tasarkhai 280 km. /4 hours/
Itinerary
09:00 am. Pick up in your location. Drive to Kharkorin
11:00 am. Stop point location 2 times. Toilet and supermarket.
11:15 am. Drive to Kharkorin
01:00 pm. Stop point location. Lunch time.
03:00 pm. Arrive in Kharkhorin, Discover to Erdene-zuu monastery. Visit to ancient capital of Kharkorin.
04:00 pm. Visit to Kharkhorin museum
05:00 pm. Drive to Best Guest house with Mongiolian tradiatonal home YURT /GER/ in Kharhorin or drive to again 1 hour to Nomadic local family at Elsen Tasarkhai. We will discuss it.
06:00 pm. Drop off at accomadation Mongolian national home Ger. Will stay 1 night.
