Hakone Shrine & Lake Ashi Torii Gate (10:00 AM - 40 mins): Your first stop is the serene Lake Ashi, a picturesque crater lake formed 3,000 years ago. Here, you'll visit the iconic red torii gate standing gracefully in the water, a symbol of the historic Hakone Shrine. This sacred site, dedicated to the revered “Hakone Daimyojin,” offers a perfect reflection of the gate and, on clear days, Mount Fuji itself against the calm lake surface.

This aerial cable car ride provides stunning panoramic views—first over Lake Ashi and then, thrillingly, directly above the steaming volcanic vents of Owakudani.
