What you can expect

Meet your guide at the Strasbourg train station and set off in a luxury van towards Heidelberg. Upon arrival, take a funicular railway to the famous Heidelberg Castle. Explore the castle courtyards, the German Pharmacy Museum, and the Great Barrel Hall, home to an enormous 18th-century wine cask.

Return to the town center by foot or funicular. Enjoy free time for lunch at your leisure in one of Heidelberg’s many restaurants or taverns. You may also explore the charming streets, visit the Church of the Holy Spirit, or enjoy shopping along the bustling Hauptstrasse.

Next, drive to the elegant spa town of Baden-Baden, nestled at the edge of the Black Forest. Take a walking tour with your guide, including the Lichtentaler Allee park, lined with villas and flowers, an exterior view of the Caracalla Spa complex, and the historic Casino, a Belle Époque architectural gem. Enjoy free time for a coffee, a pastry, or a stroll through the charming old town.

Finally, relax on the drive back to Strasbourg, arriving at the train station around 6:30 PM.
