What you can expect

Explore the ancient Pompeii ruins with a professional guide and head to the summit of Mt Vesuvius.

Start the tour at your own pleasure, you will be able to depart from Sorrento to Pompeii by train at different times.

From Pompeii a semi-private bus will take you up to Mount Vesuvius national park and from there you will take a 30-40 minutes walk up to the crater.

After being enchanted by the breath-taking views, transfer back to Pompeii scavi train station.

Continue to the incredible archaeological site of Pompeii for a guided tour of this uniquely preserved location. View artworks, mosaics, and frescoes, and explore architectural highlights such as the Roman Forum and Temple of Apollo.

After the 2-hours guided tour you will be free to remain inside as long as you want and come back to Sorrento with any train.
