Enjoy a unique experience on the occasion of the Total Solar Eclipse on August 12, 2026, one of the most extraordinary natural phenomena visible in Europe in the coming decades. This excursion from Santiago de Compostela has been designed to combine heritage, culture, and nature, culminating in the observation of the eclipse from a privileged location facing the Atlantic Ocean.

The activity will begin with a coach departure from Santiago to A Coruña, a historic city closely linked to the sea. Upon arrival, you will have free time in the Plaza de María Pita area, the heart of the city, where you can enjoy the local atmosphere and sample Galician cuisine in restaurants and at sidewalk tables in the historic center.

Later, we will go on a guided walking tour through A Coruña, visiting some of its most emblematic sites, such as Plaza de María Pita, the galleries of the Marina, the harbor, and the Old Town, discovering the maritime and cultural history that defines the identity of A Coruña.

Next, we will head to Mount of San Pedro, one of the best vantage points in A Coruña and the spot selected for observing the eclipse thanks to its open horizon towards the ocean.
