What you can expect
Get ready for a full-day adventure through two of Galicia’s most iconic cities: A Coruña and Betanzos. Discover ancient landmarks, seaside charm, and one of Spain’s most delicious traditions.
️ A Coruña – Romans, waves, and stunning views
We start our journey from Santiago de Compostela and head to the vibrant coastal city of A Coruña. First stop: the Tower of Hercules, the oldest Roman lighthouse still in operation and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Climb to the top and take in panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean.
Next, enjoy a guided walking tour through the city’s most emblematic spots. Stroll past the Church of Santiago, Church of San Jorge, Riazor Beach, the Mirador viewpoint, and the peaceful San Carlos Gardens — a perfect blend of history, nature, and architecture.
Betanzos – Medieval charm and Spain’s best omelet
After discovering A Coruña, we’ll drive to Betanzos, a beautifully preserved medieval town once known as “Betanzos of the Knights.” As a former capital of the Kingdom of Galicia, its old town is packed with Gothic churches, noble homes, and hidden corners full of legend.
Betanzos is also home to what locals proudly call Spain’s best tortilla (Spanish omelet). You’ll have time to explore and, if you wish, taste this iconic dish in the very place it was born.
An unforgettable journey through Galician culture
This full-day tour combines sea views, Roman legacy, medieval charm, and mouthwatering local food — all guided by passionate locals who’ll share the hidden gems of each city.
IMPORTANT: The Tower of Hercules will be closed for maintenance until the end of June. If you make a reservation during this period, it will not be possible to visit the interior of the tower.
