Enjoy a unique experience with Colombian cocoa, starting in the beautiful town of Salento.

The activity begins with an approximately one-hour trip by transportation from Salento to a cocoa farm located in the region's mountains. During the journey, you'll be able to appreciate the rural landscapes and the characteristic nature of the Eje Cafetero.

Upon arriving at the farm, you'll enjoy an experience of approximately two hours where you'll learn in detail about the artisanal chocolate-making process. Through a guided explanation, you'll learn about each stage of production, from the cultivation of cocoa, the harvesting of the fruit, the fermentation and drying process, to the roasting and grinding of the beans.

During the activity, you'll also be able to participate in some stages of the process, understanding how cacao is transformed into chocolate using traditional methods.

The experience ends with a delicious food tasting where you can enjoy an authentic cup of chocolate prepared by hand on the farm itself.

After this cultural and culinary experience, you will return to Salento by transportation for approximately one hour.
