    During the laid-back 3-hour journey to the island, you can simply relax and take in the scenic beauty of the lush countryside and charming villages along the route.

    Elafonisi is a unique tropical beach as well as, exotic scenery, clear waters and characteristic pink sand.

    Crete's top location is a small oblong half point, which often breaks in two parts by sea water giving it the impression of being a separate island.
    The small lagoon created at the edge of the peninsula has water that does not exceed one meter, making it ideal for families with children.

    Included is a 20-30 minute stop at a local café in the village of Elos for refreshments before reaching our destination. (The stop occurs approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes after departing from Rethymno city.)

    You'll have approximately 4.5 hours of free time to explore and enjoy Elafonisi to the fullest.
