Day 1
Begin your adventure at 6:00 a.m., departing from Puno and heading toward the town of Chivay. Along the way, we’ll stop at the Lagunillas viewpoint for stunning views of the South American highlands and the serene lagoon.
Next, we visit the Salinas and Aguada Blanca National Reserve, where you’ll spot vicuñas, llamas, and alpacas roaming freely in their natural habitat.
We then ascend to Patapampa, the highest point on the route at 4,900 meters, offering breathtaking views of the volcanic mountain range.
Upon arrival in Chivay, enjoy an optional lunch before being transferred to your hotel.
In the afternoon, unwind at the La Calera hot springs—perfect for recharging after the journey.
In the evening, enjoy an optional dinner accompanied by a lively show of traditional dances.
Day 2
Early in the morning, we head toward the Colca Canyon. On the way, we stop in the charming town of Maca to visit its colonial church, then continue to the Antahuilque viewpoint to admire the impressive pre-Inca terraces.
Finally, we arrive at the famous Cruz del Cóndor, where you’ll witness the majestic flight of the Andean condor—an unforgettable experience.
On the return journey, enjoy an optional lunch in Chivay before continuing to the city of Arequipa, arriving around 5:00 p.m.
