Your day begins with a pick-up by the guide and driver at your hotel in Praia or at the cruise port, where you'll receive a warm welcome and a brief presentation of the program.

Head to the small and cozy village of Calabaceira, located in the hills above Cidade Velha. Upon arrival, you'll be invited to enjoy a coffee break with a local family, an excellent opportunity to learn about Cape Verde's customs and rural lifestyle.

Then, the guided walk begins along scenic trails that connect Calabaceira to Cidade Velha. During the tour, you'll have the opportunity to enjoy breathtaking natural landscapes overlooking the ocean and surrounding valleys, discover the diversity of local flora, including endemic plants, hear stories about rural life and traditions of the region, and learn about the historical context of the ancient capital of Cape Verde.

When you get to Cidade Velha, check out the famous Rua Banana, one of the first streets built by the Portuguese settlers.
