Your day begins early with hotel pick-up in Panama City between 5:00 am and 5:45 am. Sit back and enjoy the scenic 2.5–3 hour drive through Panama’s lush jungle highlands as your driver transports you safely to the Port of Carti. Along the way, you may even spot monkeys or sloths in the treetops, and there’s a short stop at a grocery store to purchase snacks or water.

Upon arrival at the port, your Kuna guides will organize groups and paperwork. Things may look a little busy at first, but everything runs smoothly behind the scenes to ensure you are well cared for. Soon, you’ll board a lancha boat for the 25–30 minute ride to the first island.
