The day begins at the Molo Beverello, where meeting the assistant kicks off an experience designed to make you forget the pace of the city. We immediately board the hydrofoil bound for Ischia Porto, leaving the Gulf of Naples behind as the outline of the Green Island draws closer and closer. Once you disembark, the journey continues with a view of the water: you board Francesco's Boston Whaler for a short and pleasant trip along the coast, ready to enjoy the sea breeze.
The first real stop is at one of the famous “Bagni”, where the welcome has the authentic flavor of Ischian hospitality. A glass of chilled wine paired with a fried squid cone awaits guests, the perfect way to kick off the morning at the beach. After relaxing for a while, we sit in the shade of the gazebo on the sand for a lunch that celebrates local tradition. The table is filled with bruschetta with tomato, eggplant parmigiana, calamari and the ever-present jug of wine with chopped percoche, and then we finish on a light note with a fresh fruit platter.
In the early afternoon, we return to the sea to head for Sant'Angelo. This ancient fishing village, which is entirely pedestrianized, welcomes guests for a moment of free time. Strolling through its quiet streets, admiring the pastel-colored houses, and enjoying a coffee in the small square gives you a sense of peace from another era.
Finally, you get back on the boat to return to Ischia Harbor, enjoying the last coastal panorama before boarding the hydrofoil that takes you back to Naples, concluding a day spent entirely among the scent of the sea and the flavors of the island.
