Manzamo is one of Okinawa’s most famous scenic landmarks. Here you will find a vast natural grassland overlooking dramatic limestone cliffs formed by uplifted coral reefs. The powerful waves of the East China Sea crash against the rocky coastline, creating a spectacular landscape that perfectly showcases the grandeur of Okinawa’s nature.
Kouri Island (30-minute stop)
Kouri Island is known as the birthplace of Okinawa’s version of the Adam and Eve creation legend. It is often referred to as the “Island of Love” and the “Island of the Gods.” The 1,960-meter-long Kouri Bridge connects Okinawa’s main island with Kouri Island, stretching across crystal-clear turquoise waters. As you cross the bridge and explore the island, you can enjoy breathtaking ocean views and fully experience the charm of Okinawa’s tropical scenery.
Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium (3–3.5-hour stop)
No trip to Okinawa is complete without visiting the famous Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium. Known for breaking multiple world records, this aquarium is one of the most impressive marine facilities in the world. Its enormous viewing panels allow visitors to observe majestic whale sharks, manta rays, and countless tropical fish swimming gracefully in the massive tanks. This unforgettable underwater experience makes it one of the must-visit attractions for travelers to Okinawa.
American Village (60-minute stop)
American Village developed around the area where U.S. military personnel and their families have been stationed in Okinawa, giving the district a unique American West Coast atmosphere. The area is filled with colorful buildings, American-style shops, restaurants, and entertainment facilities. Visitors can also enjoy Sunset Beach nearby and the iconic Ferris wheel, making it a popular photo spot and a lively place to explore.
