✅ Important to Know Before You Go:
Passport Required
Even though Transnistria isn’t officially a country, you will need your passport to cross the border and register entry. No visa is required for EU/US citizens.

Bring Cash
Credit cards are not widely accepted, and ATMs are rare. It’s recommended to bring cash in Moldovan Leu, Euros, or US Dollars. The local currency, the Transnistrian Ruble, is used inside the region and can be exchanged upon arrival.
