Spend the day learning techniques for descending these narrow spaces with a professional guide, then make your way down through a canyon of your choosing, depending on the abilities, experience, and goals of your group.

After meeting your expert guide in Moab or Hanksville, head to the trailhead (2.5 hours from Moab; 30 minutes from Hanksville). Begin your hike over ancient sand dunes and, as you gain elevation, enjoy views of the Henry Mountains.
