The tour begins in the heart of the island city of Malchow, right by the well-known swing bridge that connects the historic center with the city. After casting off, the boat slowly glides out onto Lake Malchow. The wide expanses of water offer a magnificent view of the Old Town with its half-timbered houses, the monastery complex with its prominent monastery church, and the picturesque waterfront promenade.
After crossing the swing bridge, the trip first goes to the dock of the rehabilitation clinic, where additional passengers can board. After that, the tour continues towards Lake Fleesensee. Surrounded by rolling hills, green riverside forests and vacation resorts, it offers an impressive panorama. After a short stop at the Untergöhren jetty, you will continue towards Lake Kölpinsee. With a bit of luck, you can spot cormorants or white-tailed eagles.
After a narrow passage, where with a lot of luck you can catch a glimpse of the beaver or its “castle”, Lake Kölpin opens up before you. This lake is calmer and more natural; it conveys a sense of vastness and originality. Fishing boats and sailboats cross your path, and small bays and reed beds, which are a habitat for numerous waterfowl, appear again and again.
The tour finally leads to the idyllic Jabeler Waldsee. Nestled in dense forests, it almost seems like an insider tip: a quiet, nature-loving place that is particularly enchanting due to its tranquility and seclusion.
After a lap on the lake, we'll return along the same route – via the Kölpinsee, Fleesensee and Malchower See – until the striking swing bridge of Malchow comes into view again.
After passing through the swing bridge again, the ship will dock at Pier 1, where the tour ends.
