This day small-group tour takes you deep into the Triglav National Park, Julian Alps and Soča Valley, a region famous for its wild mountain scenery, turquoise rivers, and charming alpine villages.
Departing from Ljubljana in the morning, we’ll head to Kranjska Gora, stopping first at Gozd Martuljek for incredible views of the Špik mountain range, followed by a short break at Lake Jasna.
We’ll then ascend the Vršič Pass (1,611 m), the highest mountain pass in Slovenia, with 50 spectacular hairpin bends and panoramic views of Triglav National Park. Crossing into the Soča Valley, the landscape opens up to the emerald waters of the Soča River, where we’ll visit the Great Soča Gorge.
After a lunch break in Bovec, you can choose between exploring Kozjak waterfall or joining one of the valley’s adventure activities - white-water rafting or ziplining. (Rafting and zip-line are avaliable from 15.3. untill 31.10.)
We’ll continue to explore more natural wonders, including Boka Waterfall, Slovenia’s highest waterfall, and the fairytale-like Virje Waterfall.
On our way back toward Ljubljana, we’ll make a short scenic stop at Lago di Predil in Italy.
Led by a local English-speaking guide, this journey combines nature, adventure, and some of the best sights of Slovenia.
