Capture pictures of the glorious Santa Maria del Fiore Cathedral, the Baptistry and Giotto's Bell Tower. Have some free time in Piazza della Repubblica, where the cafes, terraces and shops are a reminder of its ancient origins as the site of a Roman forum.

Head to Piazza della Signoria to dive into the origins and history of the Florentine Republic while surrounded by magnificent examples of sculpture from the Renaissance. Continue to the historical Ponte Vecchio bridge with its colorful shops and begin the bus ride to Pisa.
