Begin your tour with a brief stop at the Cyprus Handicraft Center in Nicosia, an outlet for producing and selling traditional folk art and crafts.

Next, enjoy a short drive around Nicosia town center, where you can see some of the most important landmarks of the capital. Then, get dropped off inside the Walled Old Town Center, where you get lots of free time for shopping and lunch (optional extra) and to explore the town.

During your free time, cross the border (also known as the “Green Line”) that divides the Cypriot capital city of Nicosia into the southern Greek-Cypriot region and the northern Turkish-Cypriot region since the Turkish invasion in 1974. The Turkish-occupied part of Nicosia that remains in a time-lock also has many interesting places to visit.

• Citizens of Armenia, Syria, Nigeria, Turkmenistan, Bangladesh, India and Nepal cannot cross the border.
• Ukrainian citizens living in Cyprus with refugee status are not permitted to cross the border.
• Greek citizens who possess the old handwritten National Identity Cards are not allowed to cross the border; they must carry either the new National Identity Card or a valid passport.
