What to Expect?
Our tour starts from Samotor, our off-road vehicle dealership in Decollatura (CZ). After a short briefing, you’ll learn the simple driving rules for our buggies, ensuring a fun and safe experience for everyone.
To the Peak of Monte Reventino
We’ll set off immediately, navigating dirt trails, pine and beech forests, crystal-clear streams, and ancient mule paths. As we ascend Monte Reventino, the landscape becomes wilder, offering stunning views and an unmatched sense of freedom.
At 1,417 meters (4,649 ft) above sea level, we’ll stop at the summit to take in a spectacular view. From here, you can admire both the Tyrrhenian and Ionian Seas, the mountains of Sila Piccola, and on clear days, even the Aeolian Islands in the distance.
After a refreshing break in this breathtaking spot, we’ll continue our adventure, heading down exclusive buggy trails.
The Magic of Pietra di Fota
As we near the end of our journey, we’ll venture into a dense and mysterious forest to reach Pietra di Fota, a 20-meter-high (66 ft) monolith hidden among the trees at over 1,000 meters (3,280 ft) altitude.
This fascinating rock is wrapped in ancient legends—some say it was a meeting place for fairies, while others believe it holds the mountain’s deepest secrets. We’ll stop here for a short break, the perfect chance to capture stunning photos and soak in the magic of this hidden gem.
