Village Programme:
Morning after breakfast from your hotel, drive down to Kavanattinkara, which is about 3 kms away from Kumararkom, the tour starts with a visit of a local Hindu Temple, later board the shikara boat(motorized medium size country boat) cruise through the narrow canals of Aymanom(these narrow canal cruising is missing now a days while going on houseboats) cruise through paddy fields, witness the daily life of people living on the banks of the river, get down in a local village,witness the ladies engaged in Coir weaving, witness the village man do the toddy tapping, you will get a chance to tast the natural coconut toddy, explore the village by foot, interact with localities and witness various activities such as mat weaving, hibiscus shampoo making etc.., your experienced local guide will help you do all these activities, back to the shikara boat, cruise though the narrow canals for some more time, later got down at a local home, have a mouth watering Kerala special lunch with the host.
