Option A (Nanu Oya): Drive straight to Nanu Oya Station, the main train hub right next to Nuwara Eliya town.

Option B (Ambewella): Travel deeper into the hills to visit Ambewella Dairy Farm (“Little New Zealand”) to see rolling green meadows before dropping off at the misty Ambewella Station.

Train tickets for travelling by train from Ambewela or Nanuoya can be purchased at the train station itself, especially 2nd and 3rd class tickets, where it is difficult to get first class tickets. You can get tickets on some days except Wednesday. But you can book 1st class tickets online.
