White-Water Rafting: Brace yourself for an unforgettable rafting experience on the mighty Nile River. Navigate thrilling rapids under the guidance of experienced instructors, with safety equipment included. Whether you're a first-timer or an expert, the rush of the rapids is sure to exhilarate.
Optional activities:
Quad biking, horse riding, and flat-water tubing: relax and float down the calm sections of the Nile, perfect for those who prefer a gentler water activity.
After a day packed with adventure, unwind at your riverside lodge and enjoy dinner as you listen to the soothing sounds of the river.
Day 2: Source of the Nile, Jinja City Tour & Transfer to Sipi Falls
Distance: 195 km (3–4 hours)
Begin the day with a relaxing exploration of Jinja’s cultural and natural treasures. Cruise to the source of the Nile, along Lake Victoria, to the point where the Nile originates. Marvel at this iconic landmark as your guide explains its history and significance.
Then, explore the vibrant streets of Jinja, visiting local markets, colonial-era landmarks, and craft shops where you can pick up unique souvenirs. After lunch at a local restaurant, embark on a scenic drive to Sipi Falls. As you ascend into the highlands of Mount Elgon, enjoy stunning views of valleys and distant plains. Upon arrival, check into your lodge and relax as the sun sets over the majestic waterfalls.
Day 3: Sipi Falls Adventure – Trekking, Abseiling & Cultural Immersion
Spend the day exploring the natural beauty and cultural heritage of Sipi Falls. Trek to the Three Waterfalls: Discover the beauty of Sipi on a guided trek through coffee plantations and verdant landscapes. Visit all three waterfalls, each offering a unique perspective and photo opportunity. Descend alongside the main waterfall on a thrilling 100-meter abseil. With all equipment provided and professional guides assisting, this is a must for adventure seekers.
Visit a local farm to learn how coffee is grown, harvested, and roasted. Try grinding coffee beans and enjoy a freshly brewed cup as you take in the scenery. Day 4: Sipi Falls to Kampala/Entebbe with Kampala City Tour
