After being picked up in Jujuy, head west up to the town of Yala. The area is famous for lakes located at 2,300 meters above sea level. Visit the lagoons of El Comedero, Desaguadero, and Rodeo with their crystalline waters set among a lush green environment.

Crossing the ravine of the Yala River, head up a dirt road to Los Nogales. Upon entering the Potreros de Yala Provincial Park, you will see a mountain forest with its cloud cover. Known as Yungas, this stretch of forest along the eastern slope of the Andes has thick vegetation and flowers, creating an attractive landscape setting. The coexisting fauna include macas, herons, ducks, coots, and a variety of other species.
