Discover Skye’s mythical landscapes, dramatic history and breathtaking coastlines on this one-day adventure from Inverness.

Our journey begins with a scenic drive along the legendary Loch Ness where you should keep your eyes peeled for a glimpse of the elusive Nessie! From there, we wind through the rugged Highlands towards the west coast, where dramatic glens and sea lochs hint at ancient Viking routes into the heart of Scotland.

We pause at the breathtakingly romantic Eilean Donan Castle, one of Scotland’s most photographed landmarks. You’ll have time to explore its fascinating history and snap some unforgettable photos. Crossing the Skye Bridge, we arrive on the Isle of Skye and dive into a land of legends, faeries, clan rivalries and heroic tales. Your guide will bring the island’s stories to life as we travel to the island’s colourful capital, Portree, where you’ll have time for lunch and a wander by the charming harbour.

In the afternoon, we venture into Skye’s otherworldly landscapes – from the towering Old Man of Storr to the dramatic cliffs of Kilt Rock and the eerie beauty of the Quiraing. After soaking in the island’s wild magic, we head back to Inverness in the evening, with memories to last a lifetime.
