Day 1: Departure and Village Immersion

Begin with an early pickup in Hanoi's Old Quarter (after booking, we'll contact you to arrange either our sleeper coach (standard or upper cabin) or your own transport) then enjoy a scenic 5–6 hour drive north through terraced valleys and mountain scenery, with one rest stop en route. On arrival in Sapa, check into your hotel and have lunch featuring highland specialties.

Rather than heading straight into the village, the afternoon opens with a short orientation walk around Sapa's town center — the stone church square and market streets — before continuing on foot into Cat Cat Village. Wander stone-paved paths past H'Mong wooden homes, watch artisans at work on indigo dyeing and silver jewelry, and reach the Tien Sa waterfall area and the old French-era hydro station. Optional costume rental is available for photos by the giant wooden water wheels.

In the evening, enjoy dinner at a local eatery, then free time to browse the night market stalls or sample grilled street snacks (corn, sweet potato, quail egg). If traveling on a Saturday, catch the seasonal “Love Market” gathering.

Day 2: Ham Rong Summit and Return

After breakfast and check-out, spend the morning at Ham Rong Mountain, reached directly behind the stone church. The visit moves through Heaven's Gate viewpoint, the Indochina Orchid Garden, the natural rock formations of Stone Garden, and the Cloud Yard lookout — with a cultural performance along the route rather than at a fixed stop.

Head back to town by late morning for lunch, followed by free time for souvenir shopping or coffee before the return coach departs for Hanoi in the early afternoon, arriving back by evening.

Breakfast + check-out → Ham Rong Mountain → Heaven's Gate viewpoint → Indochina Orchid Garden → Stone Garden → Cloud Yard lookout (cultural performance along the way) → Back to town for lunch → Free time (shopping/coffee) → Return coach to Hanoi (arrive evening)
