Start your day with a hotel pickup in Hanoi’s Old Quarter between 7:15 – 8:00 AM and depart for Ninh Binh.
Due to a local regulation restricting bus pickups from 6:30 to 8:30 AM, you may be asked to walk a short distance to a meeting point if your hotel is on a restricted street.
Around 9:15 AM, enjoy a short break at a rest stop (15–20 minutes).
Arrive at Hoa Lu at approximately 10:00 – 10:30 AM, the ancient capital of Vietnam in the 10th century. Visit the temples dedicated to Kings Dinh and Le, and learn about Vietnamese royal history from your local guide.
Before lunch, enjoy a short optional bike ride with your guide to explore the peaceful countryside and limestone mountains. If you prefer, you can walk around the village or relax at a nearby restaurant.
At 12:00 PM, enjoy a buffet lunch at a local restaurant. Try regional specialties such as goat meat. Vegetarian options are available.
After lunch, take a sampan boat ride along the Ngo Dong River in Tam Coc for about 1.5 hours. Known as “Halong Bay on land,” this tranquil journey passes through limestone karsts and, in harvest season, golden rice fields.
At 3:45 PM, board the limousine bus and continue to Mua Cave, where you’ll climb nearly 500 steps to reach the top of Lying Dragon Mountain. From here, take in one of the most breathtaking panoramic views in Ninh Binh.
At 5:00 – 5:30 PM, depart Ninh Binh for the return drive to Hanoi.
You’ll arrive back in the city around 7:00 – 7:30 PM, with drop-off at your hotel. Tour ends.
