What you can expect

Experience a remarkable 3-day desert journey from Fes to Marrakech, filled with adventure, culture, and scenic beauty.

Day 1 : Fez - Ifrane - Midlet - Ziz Valley - Merzouga Dunes

After an early breakfast at your hotel or Riad in Fez, your driver will pick you up as early as possible, 07h30 AM that will allow you enough driving time to catch the sunset in Erg Chebbi.

Your Fes to Marrakech desert tour will start crossing towards the Cedar forests of the Middle Atlas Mountains past Ifrane. You can spot Barbary apes on the side of the street and stop for some photos.

Continue to Midelt, where you will stop for lunch, You cross the Errachidia dam, the magnificent panorama of the ZIZ valley, crossing the town of Erfoud. Then you will take the track to reach the dunes of Erg Chebbi.

On the back of a camel you will reach the camp (in nomadic tents) in the middle of the desert and enjoy the sunset over the immensity of the dunes. Night in a Bivouac (private tents) at the foot of the dunes.

Day 2 : Erg Chebbi - Erfoud - Todra Gorges - Dades Gorges

After your breakfast and shower, we will go in the direction of Boumalne Dadès via a stop at Erfoud (famous for its date market), then via the small oasis of Touroug and Tinejdad, then we will arrive at the famous Todra gorges and have lunch there.

After a short walk in this geological site of rocks, we will take the path again towards the splendid Dadès valley and gorges. Dinner and overnight.

Day 3 : Dades Gorges - Valley of the Roses - Ait ben Haddou - Marrakech

In the morning after breakfast, we head towards Marrakech (the pearl of the south) via Ouarzazate (our Hollywood) on the road of a thousand Kasbahs.

You will see the beautiful valley of roses in Kelaat M'Gouna (the capital of roses), then to Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou where you will have lunch before a visit of the Kasbah, a UNESCO world heritage site, that has been used as a set for various Hollywood movies, fashion and commercial shooting. The Kasbah is well preserved and consisted of various Kasbahs packed together and appears as a single unit, after visit will continue through the high atlas mountains to Marrakech.

Finish your desert tour in Marrakech around 7 PM.
