A private tour from Estepona to Ronda, combined with tapas enjoyment, sounds like a luxurious and relaxing one day trip. Ronda, known as perhaps the most beautiful city in Spain, is an absolute must for visitors staying in Andalusia.
A private driver will pick you up in Estepona. You will travel in comfort in an air-conditioned vehicle that offers enough space for you and your companion. The drive to Ronda takes approximately 1.5-hours.
Enjoy the views of the picturesque Costa del Sol and the surrounding mountains along the way.
- Arrival at Ronda
Historic old town: Start with a stroll through Ronda's new town. Discover the New Town (el mercadillo) in all its facets and take a leisurely stroll to the bullring in Ronda, one of the most important in the whole of Spain.
Plaza de los Toros: Visit the bullfighting arena in Ronda and immerse yourself in 240 years of history.
Puente Nuevo: One of the most photographed sights in the world by tourists. This imposing structure is simply gigantic. Enjoy several spectacular views of the bridge and the gorge.
Enjoy the highest point of the city, the town hall, and the city's most important church in the Old Town (la ciudad).
Several striking vantage points almost complete the one day trip to Ronda, but the best comes at the end.
Tapas Experience
Some of the numerous customers told me after the end of the tour that they had never been served such good and hearty tapas in Spain, so that may well be true.
Culinary highlight: Be sure to try the oxtail (rabo del toro).
After lunch, there will be time for individual shopping.
- Return trip to Estepona
After a fulfilling day, you will be driven back to Estepona in a relaxed manner.
