What you can expect
Our agents will welcome you with our Meet and Greet service, holding a sign with your name at El Sokhna Port. You will then be transferred by an air-conditioned vehicle to Cairo, a scenic drive of 3 hours, with a stop if needed to rest.
Your expert Egyptologist sets the tone for a journey back 5000 years at the Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinus, then on to the iconic lion-bodied Great Sphinx.
Capture the famous “kissing the Sphinx” selfie before heading to the Valley Temple—an ancient granite marvel echoing Latin American temples, sparking theories of lost technologies and mysterious building methods.
Your journey continues to the Grand Egyptian Museum.
At the Grand Egyptian Museum, you'll get to see:
The Hanging Obelisk: A testament to ancient Egyptian architecture.
King Ramses II Statue: A tribute to one of Egypt's most powerful pharaohs.
10 Statues of King Senusert: A distant view of the legacy of this Middle Kingdom pharaoh.
The Grand Staircase: A distant view of this architectural marvel.
Ptolemaic King and Queen: A glimpse into the era of Greek rule in Egypt.
Victory Column of King Merenptah: A symbol of this pharaoh's military success.
Royal Regalia: A display of the ceremonial attire of ancient Egyptian royalty.
The Grand Atrium & Gift Shop: A chance to take a piece of Egypt home with you.
As the evening descends, your guide will accompany you back to your cruise ship at the El Sokhna port.
Please note that the Grand Egyptian Museum will be closed from 15 October 2025 to 4 November 2025.
