Day 1 :

• Pick up at your hotel at 8 Am
• Head to Tataouine with a first stop at the salt lake of Chahbania
• Continue to Chenini berber village and discover its different secrets with a local guide (houses dug horizontally in the mountain, mosque, cottage…etc) and learn more about the berber tribes and how they came live.
• Visit the famous mosque of the 7 dormants and learn more about its religious story/legend
• Enjoy a local mid day lunch
• Head to the oasis of Ksar Ghilane where the greenery of palm trees embraces the ocher color of sand dunes stretching as far as the eye can see !
• Take your time to swim in the hot water spring nestled in the middle of the oasis
• Possibility of camel ride or quad tour on the sand dunes (extra).
• Head to your camp and settle at your berber tent (private tents)
• Assist to the preparation of sand bread (bread baked under sand and embers in the bedouin/nomadic way)
• Enjoy your dinner under a starry sky and assist to a bedouin musical evening
• Overnight in tent

Day 2 :

• Wake up and enjoy your breakfast
• Head to Tamazret berber village and enjoy a photo stop
• Visit a troglodyte house (dug underground) and meet a berber family who lives their (Yes ! people still live there)
• Enjoy a cup of tea that your host will offer you, with a home made bread, honey and olive oil and do not forget to thank them before leaving (this is how they make their living)
• Visit Sidi Idriss troglodyte hotel which served as a Star Wars shooting location (The inside scenes of Lars homestead)
• Take the time to taste your mid-day lunch
• Continue to Toujane berber village and to enjoy a stop offering a unique panoramic view
• Back to Djerba through the Roman road
