Embark on a day trip from New Delhi in a private vehicle to Agra, a city situated on the banks of the Yamuna River. Our first destination is the magnificent Taj Mahal, a UNESCO World Heritage site and an iconic symbol of India. Built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved queen Mumtaz, this stunning monument took 22 years to complete with the help of 20,000 workers. Spend around 3 hours exploring the intricacies of the Taj Mahal before enjoying breakfast with a rooftop view of this architectural wonder.
Next, we'll visit the historic Agra Fort, another UNESCO World Heritage site constructed by Emperor Akbar in 1565 and later enhanced by his grandson Shah Jahan with elegant white marble buildings resembling the Taj Mahal.
Our final stop is the enchanting Itimad-Ud-Daulah, also known as the Baby Taj, a beautifully crafted mausoleum that offers a glimpse into Mughal architecture and design.
After enjoying the beautiful sights of Agra city, we can drive back to Delhi with wonderful memories. We will make sure to drop you off at your preferred location or airport in Delhi.
