Day 01: Arrival in Delhi / Jaipur
Arrive at Delhi / Jaipur, the capital city of Rajasthan, where tradition and modernity coexist. After check-in at the hotel, relax for a while. Day 03: Shekhawati – Khimsar
After breakfast, enjoy a heritage walk in Shekhawati visiting Mandawa Fort and traditional merchant havelis. In the evening, enjoy a camel cart ride on the sand dunes followed by tea amidst the golden desert. This experience provides a glimpse of the simplicity of desert life. Day 04: Khimsar – Osian – Jodhpur
Post breakfast, drive towards Jodhpur. En route, stop at Osian, an ancient town known as the “Khajuraho of Rajasthan” for its exquisite Hindu and Jain temples. Explore small desert hamlets nearby where you will interact with local farmers and shepherds. Continue to Jodhpur and check into the hotel. Day 05: Jodhpur – Bishnoi Village Safari – Jodhpur
This day is dedicated to exploring the unique culture of the Bishnoi community, famous for their eco-friendly lifestyle, wildlife protection, and traditional crafts. Embark on a village jeep safari where you may spot blackbuck antelopes in their natural habitat, visit artisan homes to see pottery, weaving, and dhurrie making, and witness age-old rituals such as the opium ceremony. Return to Jodhpur in the afternoon and visit the majestic Mehrangarh Fort, one of India’s finest hill forts, and the bustling Clock Tower market for spices and handicrafts. Overnight stay in Jodhpur.
Day 06: Jodhpur Departure
After breakfast, enjoy some leisure time or explore the local markets of Jodhpur for handicrafts, textiles, and souvenirs. Later, transfer to the airport/railway station for your onward journey.
