The sightseeing tour begins with pickup from your hotel in the city of Cusco (3:00 AM to 3:30 AM). Then we will drive south of Cusco for 5 hours until we reach the town of Phinaya, where we will enjoy a typical Andean breakfast to recharge our batteries. We'll then continue for another hour in our van until we reach the foothills of the Quelccaya Glacier, considered the largest tropical glacier in the world. Upon arriving at the bus parking lot or the end of the vehicle route, we will take a roughly 20-minute hike to the Quelccaya Glacier.
Along the way, you can explore the natural beauty of the place: crystal-clear lagoons, streams, vicuñas in the wild, and the imposing mountains of the Vilcanota mountain range. After a nice hike, we'll return to the vehicle to go back to the small town of Phinaya, where a typical lunch of the area, prepared with local ingredients, will be waiting for us. Afterwards, we will make our way back to Cusco, making a special stop at the magical Sibinacocha Lagoon, one of the largest and most beautiful in the highlands, ideal for ending the day with an unforgettable view.
We will end this unforgettable adventure with our arrival in the city of Cusco around 8:00 PM, dropping you off at a central point for your convenience.
