The Dão Demarcated Region can be defined as a plateau surrounded by several mountains with vineyards planted between 400 and 700 meters above sea level, with unique soil, climate and grape variety conditions that result in great wines.
The Dão region is known as the Portuguese Burgundy, with velvety, full-bodied wines with exceptional acidity and red wines with great ageing potential. White wines, on the other hand, have fruity aromas and are extremely fresh.

On this tour we invite you to visit one of the oldest and most emblematic wineries in the region. We'll taste their wines, stroll through the vineyards and continue on to lunch, where we'll taste one of the region's typical dishes.

After lunch, we'll continue our visit to the region and, unlike the morning visit, the next winery is a symbol of modernity, both in terms of construction, equipment and production methods.
