Rock Fort Temple (Uchchipillaiyar Temple)
Climb the rock-cut steps to reach the Ganesh Temple at the top.
Enjoy a panoramic view of Trichy city.
Thayumanaswamy Temple (en route)
Located on the same hill, this ancient temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva.
St. Lourdes Church
A beautiful French Gothic-style church located near the Rock Fort.
Srirangam – Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple
One of the largest temple complexes in India.
Visit the 1,000-pillared hall and witness vibrant temple rituals (optional evening darshan).
Evening: Explore local bazaars or relax.
Overnight stay in Trichy.
Day 02: Temples and Departure
After breakfast, check out and continue sightseeing:
Jambukeswarar Temple – Thiruvanaikaval
Dedicated to Lord Shiva (Water Element Temple - Pancha Bhoota Sthalam).
Peaceful and deeply spiritual atmosphere.
Optional (if time permits):
Samayapuram Mariamman Temple – a powerful and popular goddess temple about 20 mins from the city.
Kallanai Dam (Grand Anicut) – One of the oldest functional dams in the world, built by the Cholas.
Drop-off at Trichy Railway Station/Airport for onward journey.
