Discover the beauty, history and flavours of the Atlantic coast of Cádiz on our Route of Tuna, an unforgettable excursion through some of the most charming places in southern Spain.
Our journey begins in Vejer de la Frontera, one of the most beautiful white villages in Andalusia. Enjoy a guided walking tour through its picturesque narrow streets, whitewashed houses and charming squares. Discover its rich history, traditional Andalusian architecture and breathtaking views over the surrounding countryside.
We then continue towards Baelo Claudia, an impressive Roman archaeological site located beside the spectacular Bolonia beach. Here, you will travel back in time as you explore the remains of this ancient Roman city, famous for its fish-salting industry and the production of garum, a highly valued Roman fish sauce. Its location, surrounded by mountains and overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, makes this historical site truly unique.
Our final destination is Tarifa, the southernmost town in mainland Europe, where the Mediterranean Sea meets the Atlantic Ocean. You will have free time to enjoy lunch, explore its charming old town or simply relax and soak up the lively coastal atmosphere.
Throughout the excursion, you will discover the extraordinary beauty of the Atlantic coastline, with its endless golden beaches, crystal-clear turquoise waters, dramatic cliffs, rolling sand dunes and unspoilt natural landscapes. The contrast between the white villages, the blue ocean and the green countryside creates some of the most spectacular scenery in Andalusia.
A perfect combination of culture, history, gastronomy and nature, offering an authentic experience of the Cádiz coast.
