What you can expect

Join us on an exciting day trip from Brasov to explore the beauty of Varghis Gorge and its natural wonders!

You will be picked up from your accommodation in the morning and driven to the entrance of the natural reserve, located outside the village of Varghis. As you make your way through the scenic gorge, you will be surrounded by the lush forest and the tranquil sound of the river flowing alongside. Admire the picturesque wooden bridges and trails that lead the way deeper into the heart of the reserve.Discover the fascinating caves that have been carved out by the elements over time.

The Orban Balazs cave, the largest in the area, is home to one of the most significant bat colonies in the Carpathians. You can marvel at the extraordinary species of spiders and insects that cling to the cave's walls.

After a thrilling day exploring the reserve, you will return to your car for the journey back to Brasov.
