What you can expect
Experience a guided trekking tour to Cala Goloritzè, one of the most iconic places on the Baunei Coast, accompanied by a local guide along a spectacular route through Supramonte, with views of the sea and wild nature.
The activity can start with a pick-up at your accommodation in Baunei or Santa Maria Navarrese, if selected or arranged during the booking process. Alternatively, you can meet your guide directly at the departure point (the harbor of S. Maria Navarrese).
We start with an approximately 40-minute off-road vehicle transfer to the Golgo plateau.
From there, we start trekking. We usually offer the scenic variant to Punta Salinas, a more complete and evocative route that allows you to admire Cala Goloritzè from above before descending to the beach. This variant is ideal for those who are in good physical condition and want to enjoy a more scenic hiking experience.
For those who prefer a less demanding route, it is possible to reach Cala Goloritzè via the classic trail from Su Porteddu. The choice of route may be evaluated based on the group's skill level, the weather conditions, and the guide's recommendations.
Once you arrive at Cala Goloritzè, you will have time to relax, swim in the crystal clear waters, and admire the unmistakable Punta Caroddi, the limestone pinnacle that is the symbol of the cove. After the stop at the beach, the return will be along the classic trail, with a walk back up to the starting point.
In total, the trekking will involve about 3 hours of descent (with the alternative route to Punta Salinas) and about 2 hours of ascent.
Access to Cala Goloritzè is regulated and subject to limited availability. We take care of booking the entry spot, so you can enjoy the experience with greater peace of mind.
At the end of the hike, if scheduled, your guide will take you back and drop you off at your accommodation in Baunei or Santa Maria Navarrese.
This hike is recommended for those who are used to walking on mountain trails, are in good physical condition, and have shoes suitable for trekking.
